-Roger Rabbit, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
I was born with a rare genetic disorder called Mucopolysaccharidosis Type 1 Hurlers-Scheie (I know that it sounds quite atrocious). For better or worse, this disorder has completely shaped my life.
My mama always said, “Find what you love and make a career out of it.” I don’t think talking about relationships all day is quite what she had intended. But, I adore, love. I enjoy in-depth discussions about relationships, and enjoy getting to know people for who they are. I love to learn and unlearn. I love exploring the taboo or kinky, or nontraditional. I realized this meant I should probably become a therapist, so why not choose a focus that I never get tired of.
After a long academic journey derailed by surgery and clinical trials, I graduated from the University of Colorado- Denver with both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and my Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis on Couples and Families. I focus on the intersections of disability, neurodiversity, intimacy, and systemic medical trauma.
I currently see clients through Legacy Trails Therapy both in Denver, Colorado and via Telehealth (must be located in Colorado).

Rare Disease and disability advocate. I strive to bridge the gaps between intimacy, medical trauma, and identity.

Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in the intersection of relationships and disability. I currently see clients through Legacy Trails Therapy in Denver, CO.

I believe community is how we heal. I'm incredibly lucky to have many deeply supportive relationships in my life. They have gotten me through some of my most difficult times.

I find joy in baking breads, cookies, desserts. I have two sourdough starter named Doughlene and Danny DoughVito. There's a 70% chance I have dough on me somewhere.

I love a trip whether it be via the road or sky. I am an avid concert goer and type A travel planner for my friend groups. I can't resist a travel agenda. Yes, I met Hozier and I will never shut up about it

Nothing gets me up out of bed more than whimsy. I embrace all forms of whimsy whether that means dressing up, planning an event, or gamifying my day to day to make it more enjoyable.
